Do You See Me?
Do You See Me?
My collection of "friendly monsters", recalls the importance of an attentive and loving gaze. They embody the mirror in which the child discovers and constructs himself, thus finding his place in the adult world which awaits him, I hope, with open arms!
This work represents the child and his view of the future. Because, in the eyes of a child hides a world of dreams, innocence and discoveries . Each glance towards the adult is a silent call to be seen, to be recognized. Attachment is born from these precious moments when the child feels that he matters, when his emotions and thoughts are welcomed without judgment . The need to be seen, heard, and loved is fundamental for the child to flourish, feel safe, and develop his self-confidence.
